The stress I felt at the time of replanning the ceremony, not feeling welcome at the venue and the expectation of all our family and friends who had travelled to France to stay in a ‘luxury’ castle with us was overwhelming.Īt that time the French strikes were also in full swing. The entire chateau has been rewired, re-plumbed and an en-suite bathroom added to every suite allowing for a 5 star luxury experience. The chateau and estate has been painstakingly restored: the period rooms in their classic originality and the bedroom suites to their exquisite originality but with modern facilities allowing for complete comfort in a period environment.
